Hopi Point, Grand Canyon
Photographing the Grand Canyon is difficult, as it's often hard to see a real composition
amongst a real jumble of buttes and mesas, sun and shadow. Indeed I often think that the best photographs of the Grand Canyon owe more to skies than to the landscape itself. Here's my attempt to bring some order to it, looking down from Hopi Point in the evening, surrounded by hundreds of people waiting for the last shuttle buses.
