Peggy's is small and so easily overrun by a few coachloads en route from the cruise ships at Halifax and wisely deciding not to spend much time in that city. The only way to photograph Peggy's Cove well is to be there at dawn, at which point you'll often have a few hours before the tourists come. And the best way to do this is to stay there, in the single B&B with a handful of rooms some of which have balconies overlooking this view. So this was taken a few feet from my bed, and just a little further from the Keurig machine right outside our door. Its hard being a photographer sometimes.
